Meet Jonathan White, a para canoeist representing Great Britain

Jonathan White has consistently pushed the boundaries of what is possible for para-athletes. This was evident when he took part in the Nelo Summer Challenge in Portugal, becoming the first para-athlete to compete in a world-level ocean race. His participation in the event marked a significant milestone in the history of para sports.

Not one to shy away from a challenge, White has also taken his athletic prowess to marathon racing, competing against able-bodied paddlers in a true testament to his skill and determination.

White’s journey is set to reach another significant milestone at The Paralympic Games Paris 2024, where he will make his debut representing his home nation, Great Britain. This participation is an affirmation of his hard work, talent and unwavering dedication to his sport.

Through his ground-breaking participation in events and his commitment to pushing the limits of what is possible, Jonathan White continues to inspire and pave the way for future generations of para-athletes.
