Kika Nazareth

Francisca Nazareth, known as Kika, plays as a forward or attacking midfielder for Barcelona and the Portugal national team. Kika made her senior football debut for Benfica at the age of 16 and signed her first professional contract with the club in 2020, at the age of 17. 

Since 2020/21, Benfica has dominated Portuguese football, winning the league four years in a row. Kika was there for six years, making 128 appearances and won four First Division titles, four League Cups, one Portuguese Cup, two Super Cups, and the Second Division title. In the 2023/2024 season, Kika was part of the historic Benfica team that won all four domestic competitions, a first for any women's team in Portugal. Kika won Campeonato Nacional Feminino Player of the Year and Golden Boot for this record-breaking season and has since signed for Barcelona on a four-year deal.

Kika also helped her national team Portugal to qualify for the first FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2023 and she scored one of Portugal’s 2 goals in the tournament. She is considered the future of Portuguese football and already has 39 caps and 8 goals for Portugal.
