Laura is an Italian football goalkeeper who was born in Milan and grew up playing football for a local side in Bollate. Laura later moved to Germany in 2012 to play for FSV Gütersloh in the Bundesliga. It wasn’t until 2017, after playing for a number of German clubs, that she moved back and signed with the newly established Juventus women’s team.
As of July 2021, Laura moved to AC Milan but was previously a starting goalkeeper for Juventus and has won the Serie A title over 4 years from 2017/2018 to 2020/2021. Laura has also been part of Italy’s national side since 2013 and in 2019 she helped Italy to qualify for their first ever FIFA Women’s World Cup™ since 1999. She is now arguably one of the best goalkeepers in the women’s game.
