Job Description and Responsibilities
Team Summary
The CEMEA Go-to-market Services (GTMS) team leads the delivery of knowledge and expertise on Visa’s client and solutions to our clients. The team leads the launch of new products and solutions in the region, provides post-implementation technical support and advisory, and drives product adoption and performance across CEMEA. This team is at the forefront of Visa’s Client Success transformation by partnering closely with Visa clients to maximize their benefits realization and value from Visa products through optimizing their performance.
As a Senior Director in the GTMS team, you will lead a talented professional services team of Specialist Client Success Managers (Sp-CSM) responsible for the driving adoption, acceleration and optimization of Visa Products and solutions. This role is pivotal in delivering Visa’s growth strategies and is closely connected to Product and Sales organizations to achieve shorter time-to-revenue goals and effective client readiness.
The role is a direct report to the Vice President, CEMEA Go-to-market Services located in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities.
- Lead decision-making and team management, ensuring a client-focused, revenue-driven culture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders in Client Services, Sales, Product, and Technology to drive commercialization and product lifecycle management.
- Act as a key partner to global stakeholders in the Client Services Go to Market leadership teams.
- Unlock non-performing product deals and contribute to client readiness for new product implementations.
- Build and manage a high-performing, cohesive team through strategic direction and coaching.
- Spearhead thought leadership to align the Sp-CSM model with business goals and client service excellence.
- Develop a proactive, consultative Sp-CSM organization that drives continuous improvement and industry best practices.
- Establish success indicators to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the Sp-CSM service model.
- Represent the voice of the client to internal stakeholders, advocating for client needs and pain points.
- Manage a set of stakeholders across Client Services, Regional & Global Product and Business Development.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 15+ years of success in a technology, financial or information services business or with at least 10 years of experience in the payments industry. International experience and exposure to matrixed organizations preferable
- Demonstrated ability to strategically steer cross-functional teams through high-impact, unprecedented, complex business issues.
- Strong client success focus, with proven ability to communicate and build trusted relationships directly with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven abilities in negotiating and influencing stakeholders at all levels, while successfully managing competing priorities.
- Expertise in strategically solving complex global cross-functional issues, evidenced by critical thinking and sound judgment.
- Proficiency in using data to analyze client performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Excellent time management, organization, and planning skills.
- Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to achieve results as part of an effective team, and ability to prioritize and multi-task under deadlines.
- Experience representing technical and/or business issues to influence audiences at multiple levels, including executives.
- Multicultural sensitivity and interpersonal relationship management skills.
